This past weekend, I was able to participate in something special… Helping my sister get ready for her Senior Prom! A few months ago I was so excited to help her in the hunt for the perfect dress and it was a delight to see it all come to fruition.

She asked me to help with her eye makeup, so naturally, I browsed Pinterest for some ideas.

Since her dress was lime green, we did the gold with glitter dust and plum on the top lid with a lime green accent under the bottom lashes.

Isn’t she gorgeous! And I think she is one of the few people in this world who can pull off this color.

The weather here in Houston has been anything but predictable lately… We started out the weekend with unseasonably cold weather, and it mellowed over the next few days. However, I can’t complain because it was gloriously sunny. So the natural conclusion of the weekend was to have lunch out yesterday and bring the kiddo to watch airplanes.
