Hello again! Friday Floral is back with a bang today. I am focusing on Ranunculus!
There are over 600 species of Ranunculus, more commonly referred to as “buttercups.” The buttercups I grew up around looked something like the flower shown below:
I have many fond memories of picking these happy yellow or pink beauties in my back yard as a child. However, we have seen a surge in popularity lately in a very specific type of ranunculus, the Persian buttercup.
It is easy to see why this bloom has become so fashionable. They are exquisitely elegant. Especially for bridal arrangements!
Ranunculus easily make a statement on their own.
And pair beautifully with a unique container.
They are fabulous when paired with other florals as well.
I love them with the orchids above, but how stunning are they in the arrangement below?!
Ravishing might be an appropriate description!
I have been working on a new project for my home and it has finally come to fruition today. I can’t wait to show it to you soon!
Have a fantastic weekend!
