What is La Salle Design Blog about?

First and foremost, I started this blog as a creative outlet for my passion for interior design. I love looking at something in a magazine or showroom and saying, “I can make that.” There is no such thing as too many design magazines on my nightstand, but most of all, its what I do. I especially love great design on a budget!

What is the meaning behind the blog name?

Some of you may know that my Maiden name is only slightly different than the French words, la salle. I took 4 years of French in high school and throughout college I thought about how neat it was that my last name (at the time) literally meant “the room.”

I thought and prayed a long time about the decision to start this blog. When I did, the name was a no brainer.

The beauty of the internet is that you can get your ideas out there. That is what I am here to do.
